1. Introduction

Welcome to Creative Growth Therapies. By accessing this website (www.creativegrowththerapies.com) and/or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please cease using our website and services immediately. 

2. Services and Disclaimer

Purpose: The content on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional health advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Independence: Information on this site should not be treated as a substitute for a formal, personalised assessment by our Occupational Therapist or Play Therapist.

Liability: While we strive to provide accurate information, Creative Growth Therapies is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from the use of this website or reliance on its content. 

3. Intellectual Property

All content, including text, logos, worksheets, and images, is the property of Creative Growth Therapies and protected by Australian copyright laws.

Users may view or download content for personal, non-commercial use only. Reproduction or distribution without express written consent is prohibited. 

4. Fees and Payment (Private Practice)

Fees: Our current fee structure is available on our website or upon request. We reserve the right to change fees.

Payment Terms: Payment is required at the time of service, or within 7-14 days of the invoice date for funded clients.

Non-Payment: Continued non-payment may result in the suspension of services and the commencement of debt recovery actions. 

5. Cancellation Policy

We require at least 48 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment.

Cancellations made within this timeframe will incur a fee equal to 100% of the session cost, consistent with NDIS Price Guide rules where applicable. If a client can provide a medical certificate for serious medical health concerns, it is up to the discretion of the Business owner as to where only 50% of the fee will be charged.

6. Privacy and Confidentiality

We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Personal information is handled securely and used only for the purpose of providing services. Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy. Client records for children are stored until the child turns 25 years, or if the child is 18 years at the last appointment, records will be kept for 7 years, and adult records are kept for 7 years following the last appointment.

7. Safety and Professional Conduct

All parties agree to act respectfully and safely. We reserve the right to refuse service if safety is compromised.

Clients must provide honest, up-to-date information regarding their health, goals, and funding. 

8.Limitation of Liability 

To the maximum extent permitted by the law, Creative Growth Therapies excludes all liability for any loss or damage (including indirect or consequential loss) arising from your use of our website.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of NSW, Australia.
